Fire Safety In Cork Pubs.

Just thinking how safe are they in the event of a fire breaking out when the pub is busy. How many, if any, have fire exits? Are they legally obliged to have them?
The late, great Vineyard would have been a death trap. The Mutton Lane, The Long Valley or Dan Lowrey's are others that spring to mind as not having fire exits

The Hyde Out on Douglas Street has a fire exit at at the back, through the smoking room.

They also have live music three times a week, a wide range of carefully curated cocktails and craft beers, and is the perfect venue for any special celebration or event that you may be holding.

I'm not touting anyone. The idea struck me after a conversation with a Spanish friend who who told me that the police closed a bar in Málaga due to concerns over fire danger.
As I'm retired, I do what I want, when I want or when my wife wants!
