Feces Transplant

Can this be the answer for severe diarrhea? It seems that transplanting feces from a healthy human into the gut of someone suffering from severe diarrhea may be more helpful than antibiotics. Would you scat for health?

If it make sense, why not?

Interesting stuff happening in this area, the idea that, essentially, we're just a colony of microorganisms that needs to be managed.

Sure isn't done already with septic tanks, an old tank will be half emptied out and pumped into a new one.

It was suggested and trialled with success in Gartnavel Hospital in Scotland to treat Clostridium Difficile not that long ago. The transplant was sought from a family member the shit was stuck in a blender and pushed down a naso-gastric tube to re-colonise the gut. Antibiotics aren't usually appropriate as they contribute to the problem by killing the natural gut bacteria as well as doing the job that they are meant to.

Jesus and you thought Tayto waffles repeated on ya!

As it's Scotland the other option is to batter, deep fry it and consume it with chips and mushy peas.

I don't think its used or recommended anymore
