Voyager and DS9 were decent for the most part. Enterprise had one good season.

Discovery and Picard were crap. Making shows 21st century woke is a depressing BBC phenomenon that has made its way onto American networks.

Voyager was woke shite. The characters were woeful, Harry, Chakote? I could go on.
DS9 was a soap in space for about 4 years, supposedly it got better then but years of watching Quark in the bar got too much and I checked out.
Enterprise was crap. Quantum Leap meats Star Trek.
Youre giving all of them a free pass because TNG was so good and you like the franchise.
Truth is nearly all the rest were poor.

Nah, the dominion storyline in DS9 was as good as anything in TNG.

All the 7of9 stuff was good in Voyager and the doctor.

The Xindi storyline in Enterprise was excellent.

How long did it take to get to the dominion story?
I had checked out because it was painful up to that however Ive seen bits and admit they look good. It took way too long to get there.

Voyage Ill have to disagree. I hated most of the crew tbphwy bar the Doc and they had to add a Borg to make it anyway watchable but then ruined it again with the sad sack Harry pining for her.

Ill have to take your word over Enterprise, I found it trite, didnt like the temporal plot, didnt like the music, found the Captain boring, didnt like the Vulcans and checked out before the end of the first series.

Either series 2 or 3, it was quality. Agreed the first series was crap.

U think the dominion stuff might have kicked off in season 3 of DS9? Fishy?
Worf joining the cast helped.

I had a soft spot for Voyager , they had some woeful characters but they gave good Borg. Probably the weakest of the main series but streets ahead of the piss poor Discovery and just not Trek Picard.

Hope the new show returns to Trek values and drops the crash, bang whallop its a star trek show approach.

There could be some decent action in Star Trek, but it was never about the action. The stories, and the moral dilemmas involved in them were what made it.

And there was social commentary with the Warrior Klingons, the Fascist Cardashians, the rebel Bajorans etc etc.

All these issues could be teased out, without siding with any political parties/viewpoints.
