Every 2nd person you meet seems to be sick. Coughing and spluttering and impossible to avoid.

Poor oul me was forced to make the dreaded trip to Southdoc earlier. Came away with a fine bag of meds. Atibiotics/steroids ffs

Started feeling a bit off Thursday. Gradually I became completely fucked up.

Doc told me in a lot of cases it starts with a tame enough cough and pain the head. Within 3 days you’ll either be ringing the GP or O’Connor’s funeral home

the flu season has started two weeks early apparently..... i dont know how the uptake on the flu jab was, luckily the vacination is the correct one for this years flu so people who got the jab should be fairly ok..

I got vacinated for the flu and that’s not what I have. I’ve a bolox chest infection.

A full blown flu is the worst thing you could get, besides a death cert

I had the flu a few years back. So when I hear someway say to me that they have a touch of flu, I’d be saying you do in your hole. You wouldn’t be standing or chatting.

A proper flu will floor you. You’ll be completely and utterly shagged for a couple of days at least and recovery time after that is pretty bad too.
