great match between Sheff Utd and Wrexham who came from behind to win and stay 7th only behind Southampton on goal difference. Ogbene played last 20 for Blades but didnt make an impact-this was only his 3rd appearance since the Hungary match so not sure how he is in the squad for next week;

MIllwall with a huge 2nd half beat Boro and go 2nd. Full round of matches today and again on Monday. Ipswich & Southampton not playing due to FA Cup, Southampton go to Wrexham Tues night in big one for playoff spot. Ipswich with two matches in hand now.

Southampton are now the form team, winning 9 and drawing 4 of their last 13 matches including beating Fulham and Arsenal in the cup. But could them winning last night could work in Wrexham's favour, they will have an ambush lined up on Tues night and a 4 point lead(with a game more played) would be huge. Southampton will also now have two extra midweek matches to makeup and the distraction of the FA Cup semi final at Wembley in 3 weeks time. btw they had an awful run over Christmas/New Year where they failed to win 7 league matches(L4 d3) and were down in 15th.

Who the hell is this number 20 for Middlesbrough? His movement is non-existent.
Kim shares your opinion Id say.

"Kim Hellberg says Kaly Sene is still rebuilding his fitness after injury, as he moved to explain the striker’s lack of game-time of late.

As Boro’s strikers struggle for goals, Sene’s lack of game-time has been a talking point, with the 24-year-old summer signing once again left unused from the bench in Saturday's draw with Bristol City - albeit with Boro on this occasion trying to defend a lead rather than find a goal."

He didnt sign him and doesnt rate him.

Boro lucky to get the draw and still not good enough.
They had promotion in their hands but now defeat in the play offs is the most likely outcome.

Southampton with an emphatic 1-5 at Wrexham puts them well into the playoff positions and on current form would be favourites to win the playoffs. If Ipswich hit a sticky patch they would even be in the game for 2nd place but will also have big FA Cup semifinal to play. Very slick performance considering the effort they would have put into the Arsenal match. Azaz has been one of the top players in the division since Christmas(disappointed with his performance in Prague, I know it is a step up)

I don't get the Azaz h8, to be honest. His throughball in Budapest alone for Parrott's beautiful dink was enough. He did perfectly fine in Prague.

I was pissed off that he missed after Kelleher's save, but you can't be too angry with individuals after a penalty shootout.

interesting results with Hull and Boro losing, Millwall drawing and Southampton winning again. Coventry and Ipswich now almost certs to go up, Wrexham have to win at Birmingham tomorrow to get within a pont of Hull in 6th. 1775923996584.png

People banging on about Wrexham's 'fairytale'.

What about Dave Bassett and Graham Taylor taking Wimbledon and Watford through the leagues?
