English Football Championship Thread

Boro blew it again.
Now it's out of their hands.
They have to beat Coventry in the last game and hope that Milwall lose and Blackburn only draw.

Tbh even if by some miracle they made the playoffs they aren't good enough to win it.
Goals are like hens teeth for the smoggies.

Leeds were outstanding last night. I guess with pressure off they relaxed and played some great football. Still need zo buy a least 5 or 6 to have any hope of staying up. I also think a change of manager is a must given his last efforts plus he doesn't seem to have a plan B in any of the games this year when we were under pressure. Our keeper didnt help of course🤣

Need to put that in context of it being Norwich who were operating on model of getting promoted, investing peanuts in the team, leading to immediate relegation and then living off the parachute payments that would give them the edge over their rivals in getting promoted again.
Delia Smith roaring "let's be 'aving you" at the fans will only get you so far!!

Wonder how he'd do if the club invest in the 5 or 6 players required to seriously bring squad up to EPL standard.

He did pull out valuable points in big matches v Sheffield United and Sunderland when behind well into second half so you have to think he does have some sort of Plan B.
Keeper situation was a disaster and led to some valuable points going west - maybe criticism there in that he should have been dropped much sooner!
