As an engineer and tech enthusiast, I very much want to like Musk.

The evidence is that he's an absolute prick with some horrible ideas.

I'd say in terms of innovation in electric cars and later rockets yeah he can claim the title of genius. It's not something anyone can just throw together.

I just think people can be both genius and stupid.
