Anyone else on a major downer from too much fun at the weekend?

In the depths of depression here and not able for anything this week.

Soulwax/ 2 Many Djs …decided to stay on for these as they fairly blew me away when they played the Red Box last year…..again they didn’t disappoint…..even with all the SHIT they had to deal with (I.e. having to stop mid soulwax set because of some brawl up the front, I think the security gave some fella a serious kateing and they did not like that one bit….then the sound fucked up for the 2Many Djs set!! …

Are you serious? Its a pity something like that happened up there because the atmosphere seemed to be really good no matter where you went in fairness.

Ya....the atmosphere was really good after Lemon Jelly.....they (soulwax) were about half way through their set, mid song..."hey stop, stop stop!" music grids to a hault..."come on guys, thats not the answer"....all i could see was a ball of legs and arms flailing about the place inside the security barrier...

No biggy really id say.....they just kicked back in after the ball rolled out the side....

i went for the sunday it was deadly, spent most of the time just hanging around and in the crawdaddy tent though. i saw some band whom i think were called the rakes, and the subways cancelled so some other really crap foreign band filled in for them. they were awful. i was promoting jj72 with my friends rachel, dave and kev. they came on at 7:15 in the crawdaddy and they were brilliant.
my friends got to spend a half hour with them afterwards but i had to leave around 8:30 as had to go back to cork so i didnt get to meet them :-(

Im a graduate of a photography school which encouraged the little known technique of throw enough shit at a wall and eventually some of is going to stick……..so……..im confident that if I keep snapping away some day I might get a photo actually in focus……some day!!
