Like surely all costs have to be valid and accountable?

Not sure. I'm not paying 6 euro for a bill anyway on top of the extra 5. We're being raped in this country money wise

Yeah , i just hate charges that are seemingly invented out of thin air (eir).

Like if it is genuinely costing Eir 6 euro in costs to send a letter, then i’d have major questions about how it’s being run.

If it’s not costing them 6 quid, then i’d have major questions about the ethics and legality of attaching such a cost.

Either way, it smells like bullshit…

The €5 increase constitutes a breach of contract so people are free to change provider which they should be looking to do every year on utilities to ensure the best deal. Some have contacted Eir to say they are leaving and they have waived the increase to keep them.
