Irish is taught the wrong way imho.

sure the most places you’d go around the world now you’ll find english speakers. what needs to be taught in irish classes is that irish can be useful when you’re overseas and need to tell your buddy that there’s a cailín álainn up thecither end of the bar or the fella near ye on the train looks like an utter cunt.
