A passenger gets into @Yermon taxi in 1980,Reminds me of my taxi-driving days when the people who were big tippers relative to the cost of the fare were generally those from working class areas who really are the salt of the earth. The most miserly people I ever drove were generally well-heeled, and one in particular, in a huge house at a prestigious address on the Southside took the absolute biscuit counting out the precise fare in brown money - zero tip on an extremely busy Saturday night.
I like coming to work, where I've loads of friends. A few of us go out on the lash regularly. Worked from home for just under 6 weeks and absolutely hated it. I even did one of those yellow-belt bull-sh*t courses to try pass some of the time but I'm a "hands on" kinda guy - something to which Mrs Jones will attest![]()
