Dublin... Is a fucking shithole

Great scenes there and I wish there was much more of it.
However the liberals will not be best pleased as they will say the scumbag should have been understood and that he could be a victim or some other absolute bull shit.
I have a feeling the way this may play out is that scumbag will go to a solicitor for damages, with a fake injury.
That the driver will get reprimanded by Dublin Bus and he will not at all get supported by them.
The scumbag will become the victim here and will end up getting compensation.
Its not often I agree with you but spot on. Frank Buttimers latest case has just been prepared

The problem with Dublin is that is has always had an edge and a feeling of decline in many deprived parts of the city with dereliction and owners assembling sites for decades hoping for a big pay day via speculation.
The whole north inner city has a built-in sense of failure about the place but it was always like that as we made the long trips over to Croke Park down through the years but it is much worse now post C-19.
The local authorities and planners have a lot to blame for also and it would be great if we had a decent capital city worth visiting and be proud of but that day is a long way off which is a pity for locals and tourists alike.

wouldn't send my worst enemy to Dublin in its current state.... I go to London more often than Dublin these days, wayyyyyyy more to do there

my advice to all visiting friends/relatives from abroad (particularly North America) is fly into Shannon and see the west coast/kerry/cork.... avoid Dublin at all costs

We go up there an awful lot less now (the odd match or gig) but people just going to Dublin unless they have to actually go there has fallen off.

Avoid Dublin Airport at all costs-life is just too short.

Dublin has just lost its appeal, priced itself out of the market and filled the city centre with dead-zone hotels and feral locals.

I hope that they can turn it around but it will take years.

There seems to be a huge uptick in the amount of U.S. tourists in Cork this year (outside the Cobh cruise passengers) so they must also seem to be wising up?

Amen on Dublin Airport. It's a complete and utter sh*t-show that is sinking under its own size and desire to be the centre of everything.

One of the best things to hit Irish Tourism in the last 40 years I think is the Wild Atlantic Way. More and more tourist dollars are getting away from the "Guinness - Dublin is Ireland" mentality and realising that there's a more charming, authentic, safer, and cheaper Ireland beyond the Pale, and especially outside the M50
