Drugs in sport

If it's not the Tour de France winner, it's the Olympic 100m champion

So, what can be done about this? Do we just give up and say that they are allowed?

Is this primarily confined to individual power sports like running, cycling and swimming or is there an unrecognised problem in the major team sports?

Does EPO have anything to do with the number of young sports stars who have suddenly died of late?

Allowing drugs is a bad road.

If I had a 7 year old son who wanted to play hurling, I'd be thinking twice about letting him get involved if I knew that to become a top player he'd have to take performance enhancers. Less kids involved means sports die.

Yes but the money my kid would be making would more than make up for his shrunken appendage and paranoia. Also he could punch your kid really hard if he wanted and probably lift him with one arm.

I only see one loser in this and you're his father.
