The use of capitals and the exclamation mark at the end make it all so radical and relevant. I'm quite moved.

To be fair, their main candidate in CSC made it to the 7th count. More importantly, lack of support doesn't mean what they are doing is pointless - a small party which tries to assist people in some way or other is still doing its best to help others. And burning a flag can be a quite powerful expression of opposition, and was in no way a minor gesture at mass protests against the Vietnam War for example.

But burning the EU flag at the present time does seem pretty pointless.

Probably best you leave the comments on handsomeness or otherwise out of discussions on the merits or otherwise of political policies. Could be wrong but one doubts Angela Merkel will be winning Miss Germany any time soon.

I don't think what they are doing is pointless: I just think that in light of the election results they are an irrelevance
