No, he seems a bit too stubborn to me to make a good manager. Granted if his system works, great, but if it doesn't I think he would be slow to change anything if change at all or even admit he got it wrong.
As I said in the hurlers thread, I'm a big fan but he's not the right man just now. Too divisive and is relatively unproven compared to most of the other candidates including a good number of his ex teammates.
