E EDDIEB Nov 7, 2007 #2 I have done. My great grandfather fought at Ypres with the Royal Manchesters and survived. Visit the war graves there at Ypres and the Menin gate as they sound the last post at 8.00pm. So many Irish names carved into the arch. Heartbreaking.
