So you think that the Muslim world is ruled by the non-Muslim world somehow?
Not at all if the Arab world spoke with one voice they could put pressure on Israel, it makes sense like the EU does uniting Europeans, as we have it Israel can just make bilateral agreements with Arab states instead of facing an economic and political bloc.
When you say things like "the Muslim world is divided and ruled" you're not saying the above. Muslim countries (they are not necessarily Arab, btw) might have a Muslim interest, but it's not their only interest. And all Muslims are not the same. The idea of some kind of "Arab unity" is a myth and one that all kinds of people, including the Israelis (who like to claim that Arabs are somehow united against them) use to manipulate people. Like you.
It is a long held dream for the Arabs I am specifically talking about the Arabs to have a community identidy, culture, with language, religion and politics, it certainly not racist to see Arabs this way, as I mentioned in a previous post the Arabs have created many political unions that for one reason or another failed to work, won't stops Arabs striving for unity and when it comes to the Palestine question Arab unity can be effective in mitigating the major influence Israel has, let's not forget it was Arab countries that placed an oil embargo on the world in the 70's. Arab power when manifested can be very effective.

Is it so naive to imagine the Arabs can have political and economic union just like the EU, if Europeans can have it so can Arabs but I can see Israel would fear it.
You can imagine whatever you want. Might be better to try the hard work of discovering why it hasn’t happened and what would need to happen to achieve it.
