I would guess the weather will persuade them indoors soon. The issue here is Des Cahill's behaviour. He wants these tent/homes treated the same as illegally dumped Black Plastic Bags. Evictions. Use Armed Gardai. He is a nasty piece of work. A butcher in many senses. Weasels in well with these types....

As long as there are lefty middle class do-gooders enabling these people then these tents will just move elsewhere.tye do-gooders actually impede the work of the organised and officially recognised charitys.

I think a lot of comment about the tenters is hearsay. But none of it is On Topic here. Des Cahill's statements about them are inflammatory, and disgusting. Ultimately he is advocating the use of State Violence against them. Why not just leave them there? It is not a sustainable place to live and they will move on. So why the aggression?
I have nothing against Prods more than any other Religion. Even Bhuddists slaughter Rohinga. I just find the picture amusing. Look into their eyes.....

Yup Really, some of us have more or less tolerant views on Religion. But the current author here now and in that earlier Jolly Friar post, is absolutely against all Religions Equally. Perhaps Protestantism is some 'Reformed' or cleaned up version of Catholicism. But who cares, even if any of them had any value ever, they are all now vastly deformed strays from whatever they started out as.
