Death

By the way I have no problems in believing in the possibility of an afterlife and that there are those looking out for us. It's the people who claim to be able to communicate with them that I don't believe in.
You'd be amazed at how good some people are at reading others. TV magicians make careers out of the skill.
I’m a skeptic also but in conversation with a pal at Turner’s x Friday last
He surprised me by admitting he went to a chap from co cork
He went in all defensive-
Guy was able to tell him his mother in laws name ( Esther- about the great sadness in her life about her daughter’s ( his wife) 4 miscarriages
That he was adopted
That someone tried to block him from coming from work

( a Christian workmate showed him on a tablet what the bible says about mediums etc)

This medium said you were shown something on a hand held device ref not coming here!

Well I was blown away
My mates a pragmatic norrie - not easily swayed
But after that he was convinced that there’s sone truth in some whilst most are charlatans

He also told him some fairly dark truths ref health
I’ll get his name if anyone wants

Some police forces have used them in the past though, otherwise the large majority are charlatans.

US Dept of Justice did a controlled test in the 70's

"THE RESEARCH DATA DO NOT SUPPORT THE CONTENTION THAT PSYCHICS CAN PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION LEADING TO THE SOLUTION OF MAJOR CRIMES."

In general psychics have the same success rate as educated guesswork.
