De La Pena yesterday.

Did anyone see him playing for Espanyol against Madrid yesterday? He was incredible!!! I've always like him, going back to when he was at Barcelona and i really thought he could have become one of the great players in the world except for injuries etc. Against Real he was taking the piss playing opposite some of the best players in the world. If you didn't see it, i recommend trying to catch the highlights on Revisita or something. The chip at the end just summed up the performance. -AmadeusDC-

watched it last night and agree wholeheartedly....
tremendous performance. his lob would have been one of the great goals of the season had it gone it. was very unlucky though. led the attack superbly though and caused a fragile Real defence an awful lot of trouble simply by himself.

What age is he?

Real are trying to get the game replayed

29............. Real wanting it replayed is bullshit. They are like Chelsea, the way they think they can make their own rules. Thing is, with the Spanish FA they might actually get away with it. I wish that gowl Luis Garcia for Espanyol had scored one or two of his hatful of missed sitters so Real's argument would look even more ridiculous. -AmadeusDC-

I watched the game and agree that De la Pena played out of his skin.
Ex Barca.

Its not easy watching Real at the mo..
They were decent though, played well, had lots of chances so I dont mind too much losing.
They should take it though, not whinge too much. I would think that they were hard done by a few times but its best to get on with it.....
Its a regular thing to lose lots of games in the first half of the season.

La Liga is great to watch some absolutely shocking defending there though. It will be interesting to see if Kezman does a Forlan on it now that he's set for a decent run.
