It is no secret that publicly traded companies in Ireland are hiring people to suit their "diversity agenda", rather than hiring the person best suited to the job.

How shareholders can tolerate this is beyond me.

How shareholders can tolerate this is beyond me.

Having a business that's representative of the makeup of the public and market, allowing for tolerances for somewhat unquantifiable judgements such as "best suited to the job" is probably a good thing for a business.

Of course this would only be in the mediocre, average, plodding levels of the business. The extremes where the slug hits the salt are still made up of the dreamers and drivers.
