Barry and O’Connor really struggle on the doubles. The Aussies have a fella , Whitlock, who doesn’t even have a tour card anymore. Switzerland up next for the boys in green, who are the rank outsiders along with Argentina. Won’t be surprised if the Swiss win though.

O Connor nearly fucked it up royally against Gibraltar. 2 up, with 3 darts in hand for 8s. Gibtaltar are on 257. Goes inside the 8s, and then goes inside the 4s, leaving dbl 2.

Lads are so far behind you have to bust it, but no, he goes for it and leaves double 1 ffs. Loses the leg and the next one.

Terrible from someone as experienced as him. They pulled it together to win 4-2, but Barry had every right to shoot him for it imho. And no court would have convicted him for it. Justifiable Homicide I think the Yanks call it.
