He has been one of the top men at Palace this season my question is will he be considered good enough by O'Neill & Co for the Rep Of Ireland squad for the Euros this summer if he is not there must be something not right some where

He certainly made himself unavailable for some squads not sure if he's retired or not.

He was ignored by Trapp and co for years and at this stage of his career I doubt he wants to put anything on the table that could potentially cause his club career to end prematurely.

It's a tough one. He's arguably Ireland's best centre half the past year. But he didn't want to be committing to the Ireland squad when it looked unlikely he would feature. On that basis it's fully understandable that he'd concentrate on his club career in the PL at this latter stage of his career considering he spent most of it not playing in the PL.

If he was drafted into the squad for the Euros it wouldn't do much for morale in the squad.

I seriously doubt he'll play any part in the Euros unless there was an injury crisis.

plays centre half for palace. would take a huge injury crisis to see him involved - would be behind: o'shea, wilson, clark, keogh, mcshane and duffy off the top of my head.

he chose to throw a bit of a hissy fit - significantly at a time when ireland were at a low ebb - unless he was 'guaranteed' a start which was pretty ridiculous. you don't see robbie keane doing that, even a few years ago.

he made his bed. zero sympathy.
