A car has much more mass behind it, so it doesn't matter tbh.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that cars have a worse stopping distance than bikes, but I doubt there has been a peer reviewed study done on this.

That's irrelevant m8.Do you think the brakes on a car are more powerful than the brakes on a bike?
On what grounds are you claiming that you/John is being defamed? For it to be defamation I'm fairly sure you will need to show that you/John have a good reputation (good luck with that) and what Cranky posted was untrue. Can you do that?
If not, why don't you stop with your veiled threats you silly cyclist
No. Where did I say that? Thanks for proving my point. It's all about the aggro.
Mental breakdown threadCranky is admitting to having a grudge and wants to play the man, calling him a prick.
He has made negative unfounded comments about his alleged business, the way he treats his employees, and the quality of food he serves.
He has called for him to be driven off the road.
He posts up for the past few days, every tweet of his so people can do the usual 'aint he awful' pile on.
He makes light of the fact that others want him to end up in the hospital.
At the end of the day, this person is a private individual and whether you like it or not has rights under our constitution namely the right to protect his name. Therefore one cannot defame him intentionally or unintentionally.
We know that Ireland's defamation laws are very very strict some say too strict, but that is a question for another day. Yet we have posters here wilfully ignorant of this, thinking that if they post under an anonymous avatar they are protected.
They are not.
Put it this way, would any of you be comfortable posting the same stuff under your real name?
Would you be OK with your friends and family knowing the type of stuff you post?
Most importantly would your employer be happy with the type of comments you post about this subject?
Maybe you don't give a shit, maybe you have no friends or loved ones or no job and live in a basement in Ballygarven. Then work away...
For those that have something to lose, going down this path may well come back to bite you.
calling him a prick.
Tbh, after the way he and his cycling freak entourage went after Cumnor, he can't complain if his own business gets attacked. Live by the internet sword, die by it.Cranky is admitting to having a grudge and wants to play the man, calling him a prick.

I'd say that's just stating a fact, you p*ick.
Cars don't kill people, covid does. That's irrelevant m8.
Cyclists dont kill people.
Cars do.
It's the whole point of having speed limits of 50 and 30 in urban areas.
