Cyclists

What i can never understand is this, lads going around on bikes without mud guards on them.
I mean on Irish roads, that are wet a lot of the time.
Imagine the constant flick of water from the back wheel of bike up onto a fellas back, surely he would be drenched or is that lycra shite like sub aqua or what ?

In countries such as the Denmark and Holland which have more advanced cycling infrastructure gender parity with regard to cycling is the norm.

Denmark, and particularly Holland, are both relatively flat countries and more suited to cycling than Ireland imho. As previously mentioned, rather than wasting money on cycle-lanes that are just a few meters long and/or go nowhere it would be much better to invest in good lanes that would actually be used.

Thanks for that invaluable geographical insight into Denmark and Holland

In the world i am in, I find, when there is an accident or incident or whatever, there is usually degrees of blame to all parties involved, whether directly or indirectly.

Because you are an absolute prick, no matter how, but of a vehicle touches a cyclist, then in your head, the vehicle driver is 100% in the wrong.
How it happened and stuff like that don't matter to you.

You are a prick

OK, so are degrees of blame to be apportion to André Ladeiro, aged 8, who was run over by a Ford Ranger (who broke a red light) while crossing at a pedestrian crossing while the green man was showing.

Are you talking 10%, 20%, 50% blame here?

The courts jailed a man for killing this child. He accepted blame for his actions and offered no excuses, but here you are, big time Charlie, trying to relitigate this incident and apportion blame to a child from behind a keyboard.
Are you proud of yourself? Are you that unloved and unnatural?

Wank I hope you are so proud of yourself that you have to bring up the death of a young child to try and prove a point.
You truly are a despicable individual.

None of us were in that vehicle with that poor individual and none of us can san say what he could or could not see.
In my opinion I believe those lights are too close to that roundabout.
