Cyclists

Most cyclists don’t in fairness. Walk (or cycle) around town and you’ll see most cyclists dressed normally on their way to or from work. The Lycra crew are usually on country roads.
true, i wear them but wear " shy shorts" over them. they are very comfortable on longer cycles( 40 km or more) and if you plan on cycling a few days in a row then wear them..they were especially handy in the very hot weather when if you are doing alot of hills the sweat runs down your back. they are made to wick away the mostuire .

And I think we have one clown in Cork that has managed to tar everyone with the same brush. Most people aren’t that angry.

And another one

It's as though Irish cyclists think if as many people cycled here as do in Holland things would be the same.

Have a look at how people cycle in Holland - it's VERY different to cycling here. They obey the Rules of the Road. They don't cycle the wrong way up one-way streets. They indicate to let other road users know of their intention to turn. They don't cycle on footpaths. They obey traffic lights. They do not weave in and out of traffic. They have speed limits.

But our cyclists here want all the benefits of Dutch cycling to be transposed to Ireland, but rail against even the suggestion of behaving like Dutch cyclists in order to get it to work. Funny that.
And the Dutch don’t have Jank bating around the place like he is Sean Kelly in Lycra with a camera on his head looking for click material for his twitter feed.

You have loads of them so I trust, because if you are wearing the same ones, day after day, that is disgusting.
