Cyclists

The lifetime driving ban would have put an end to his business if he’s the same guy with that name and address on the internet. I think there was a delay in sentencing a few months back and it wouldn’t surprise me if this is what it was about.

RIP that young child.
That is a piss poor excuse in the same vein where that ex-soldier knocked that woman out in Limerick. He wasn't jailed initially to protect his career. Are we saying that if someone drives for a living they get a pass, even though their driving behaviour ends up killing a child?
All the more reason for them never to drive again.

If he did it on purpose then it would be down as murder, given there was intent behind it.

Everyone knows it was an accident, but please, lets not give the man who drove through a red light and killed a child that much sympathy.
Well if everyone as you say knows it was an accident why is it insinuated this man did it deliberately. It was said earlier on in this thread that he didn't stop because he ignored the red light.

As I posted earlier I was a passenger in a car (twice and with different drivers) when they were obviously not paying attention and drove through a red light. It wasn't deliberate, it wasn't that they saw it and ignored it, they made a mistake.

Nobody is giving this man too much sympathy, the man was responsible 100%.

Perhaps empathy is a more apt word, as I think anyone who isn't of the hang him high brigade understands the perils of driving and how easy it is to have an accident.

The other facet of this discussion is the sentence. I think it's been established the justice system has discrepancies.

I also think it's unfair to accuse someone of defending a child killer. That's spectacularly off kilter not to mention a little too much melodrama. Have a bit of cop on like.
