People should actually read the facts of the case. It shows the Gardai as being lazy, uncooperative, unprofessional, and worst of all vindictive. It was a clear SLAPS case, a warning to stop reporting traffic offences to them.
Let it be known, that everyone has the the right to report incidents or crimes to the Gardai.

The Ombudsman found the Garda to in negelinace of their duty. I didn't know a Garda Chief Superintendant can then more or less veto and quash their findings after the result. No wonder they are in the state they are in.
The only reason people are in favour of this outcome is that it involved a cyclist.
If this was about an incident in town about some scrote, people would change their tune quickly.
