Cyclists

There's no need to get out of your car. A quick punishment pass ensures the lesson is learned, as long as you know how to execute it correctly. You don't want lads falling off their bicycles; that's not the point of it. You want a quick, effective lesson, like how you house train a puppy by rubbing its nose in its own piss. You don't do it ten minutes after the fact; you do it on the spot.

The cyclist brain must go: "I'm riding beside my friend, blocking traffic behind me. I don't care about people who pay to use the road. Oh, here comes a car trying to overta- OH JEEEEEESUS FUCKING CHRIST HE ALMOST FUCKING KILLED ME OH MY HEART OH MY FUCKING HEART PLEASE STOP BEATING SO HARD PLEASE I REALLY DON'T LIKE THIS FEELING JESUS CHRIST PLEASE STOP PLEASE!"

And next time, that cyclist will think twice.

This is not wise. You could end up killing someone. Granted I would see it as evolution nonetheless no point in ruining your life just so you can save a few minutes. Chillax it is worth the investment.

Leave them cycle 2 - 3 across holding up everyone, life is full of these c@@ts if you start getting angry at them you will lose in the end.

Punishment passing is not for everyone, absolutely. You need to know what you're doing.

Blow your car horn at them if they fail to pull over and leave you pass. If they give you the finger, spit, or shout an obscenity at you then feel free to pull over after you've passed them so you can discuss it with them further.

Have a look at what happens to drivers who try and act the hard man with cyclists.

Here's the best bit. :)

Roxy, it might be too subtle for you, but if someone gives the finger, spits, or shouts abuse they're the ones initiating the acting of the hardman. And while it's not very likely someone on a bicycle is "tooled up" apart from threatening others with their metal bicycle (we've seen that in the past) see below what happens when cyclists don't pay attention or just ignore the rules of the road.

I think I'm a very reasonable chap and as I say I cycle myself, but I'm aware and respectful of other road users. I wouldn't hog the road way delaying others irrespective of what mode of transport I'm using

Some absolute shockers here though some are down to drivers as well

Does it make me a bad person to say I laughed out loud at some of them. Guys cycling at speed across a PEDESTRIAN (the clue is in the name lads) Crossing coming croppers can be funny

Beeping the horn at cyclists, which you recommend doing when you see them cycling two abreast is acting the hard man.

Btw.

Cycling two abreast

Cycling two abreast is perfectly legal on Ireland’s roads, and bikes can be temporarily more than two abreast when one cyclist is in the process of overtaking another (as long as this overtaking doesn’t endanger other traffic). The only requirement for bikes to be in single file is when they are overtaking other traffic.
