He was working on the plays a lot so we had many free Geography classes.
But he had us well sorted for the Leaving in jig time.

What about Ma Melons she was quite the character. She used to teach religion I think, her idea of Religion and that of Brother Eugene were worlds apart. She used to enjoy the adulation thanks to Cow and Gate

Fond memories of the Friday night school discos in the hall . We got passes to give the Mount Mercy girls and vice versa when they had their discos.

As did i until my mate got his lung punctured by Galway who was bouncing in there at the time ( he was 6 th year)

Ended up in Sarsfield court for a few months
Galway skipped the country
His dad paid a sizeable amount to make it all go away

I met him before he skipped and boxed the head off him in roches stores cafe

Ended up in the bloody Bridewell
