Ollie was a genius could have been a great teacher but had no control over the class unfortunately.

Ollie was a nice guy but appeared to be on a different planet to the students during his Maths classes.

You can have all the brains in the world but if you can’t control a class and or get. What’s in your brain into the students brain it’s all useless.

The best teachers I had were not Geniuses but knew how to get the message across.

Not forgetting the practical teachers.
Mr Duggan who taught mechanical drawing or something.He had a white beard and another fella who went around in a white coat. He was known as “ Moses” or “Papa Smurf.”
Also the legendary woodwork teacher , another Kerryman who liked football.
Paddy ‘ Woody’ o Sullivan. Sound guy.

There was another fella up there.. a French teacher. Christy “ Jelly” o Connor.
He seemed to live in the shadow of Ma Murph and Goretti Keane and had trouble getting the old tape reel going for the French book in the language lab.
Nice guy though.

Was Ma Murph (Geraldine Murphy) the mother of Cillian Murphy the Cork actor? Cant remember if her son went to CSN or not.. ?
