I didn't start until September 1975.

Na he was older by 2 years I think- never picked up a hurl till I moved north
Football with Bishopstown until the foreign sports kicked in around 15/16

I’d no discipline whatsoever enjoyed sports but drifted in / out
Played senior up north and found squash then when I retired- great sport

Ye were lucky so we had to wear slippers to protect the floor during 1st year.

You had to change into slippers back then because Bishopscourt roads weren't finished and produced large amounts of mud which would have made shite of the new floors. An older school going neighbour told me this at the time.
