Ruud van Nistelrooy is staying at Manchester United, according to his agent.

The Dutch striker has been linked with a move to La Liga and possibly Real Madrid at the end of the season. However the player's representative Rodger Linse said Van Nistelrooy is putting down roots in Manchester and is buying a house.

"Ruud is happy at Manchester United," Linse told the Manchester Evening News. "As a matter of fact he is in the process of buying a house in Manchester. Previously he had rented, but now he is buying somewhere. Why would he buy a house if he wants to leave the club?"

well thats another load of bollocks drummed up by the tabloids.

It'd be a disaster for United if Ruud left, an absolute disaster. It's just the Sun Printing idle speculation founded on rumours "a source said" me hole!. Ruud's injury proved how toothless we are upfront without him, If United hope to win the league next year then Van Nistlerooy must stay.

Besides the figures being bandied around are ludicrous, £12mill?? United couldn't hope to sign a forward of Ruud's quality for that money, so all this transfer talk is just thAT...........TALK
