It saddens me to see how far Chríost Rí have fallen. Football was always such a huge part of the life of the school and I’ve great memories of my time there going to matches to support the team. From what I can see they were hammered in the B championship a few weeks ago.

CCR were more hurling than football back in the day weren't they Hall?

Back in the noughties my school CSN won our only C ui Mhuiri by beating St Brendans in a replay an achievement in its self but in hindsight in was almost certainly the worst Brendans team ever because if im right only one of that team went on to play with Kerry

CSN had some future Cork seniors in that team didn't they Blues?

There was a strong hurling teams in the 60s but football has always been the number one game there to the best of my knowledge. CCR has always been inextricably linked with Nemo. Their pitch is even out the back of the old Nemo pitch.
