Your explanation is based on others might be right on winter training of the 18 year olds etc. and I should acknowledge their opinions.
Again 'without acknowledging they might be mistaken' which is only hypothetical jargon. If I'm proven mistaken I will acknowledge and also give credit due to the management but anyone watching underage hurling in Cork over the years know that players such as Conor McCarthy and Mark O'Brien are easily good enough for this years U-20 team and they're officially not even on the panel. There were others last year and if you judge over the 2 years the Furlong management have lost out on up to 10 players in total, I know of 2 players who pulled out or wouldn't make themselves available.
'Slim enough chance', Cork lost narrowly to Clare to qualify for the Munster final and Clare lost narrowly to Tipp in the final but of course you believe the players Furlong left out wouldn't have made the slight bit of difference.
It was you who addressed me with criticism and lacking in humility because I showed up the truth regarding selections and I'm talking over a few weeks this time not a year and a half. Why don't you read my initial post which the likes of overtheline and hurlywurly among others took so much offence with and tell me why I haven't a right to criticise 'if it's 'fine to criticise management'. The post wasn't offensive to any posters on here but I've been constantly ridiculed, name-called and sweared at, sure life goes on and I know their type. Read what Pooman stated on Furlong over both years and Twiceasnice last year.
