Is Colm Garde even allowed play intermediate for Lisgoold this year?
I think he spends the rest of the year playing East Cork Jr B Hurling instead of premier intermediate with Lisgoold and senior with Imokilly. A ridiculous rule from the county board.

I think he looks the real deal. I'd nearly have him brought onto the extended senior panel with a view to fast tracking his S&C for the years ahead.

There had to be a change made at fullback. Got roasted. Obvious he couldn't defend a high ball. Felt sorry for him as he didnt look natural there.
Clare were excellent at getting the ball away when bottled up. Cork had committed loads of bodies to the tackle and Clare got a quick handpass away to create overlaps. Better team overall.

To be fair, nobody is criticising the player himself. He did his best and was over matched in an unfamiliar position. He wasn't the only one beaten over the two games back there.

I've been pretty positive towards this management team over the last 2 years tbf when other lads were tearing them apart before a game was played, but they made zero adjustments over the two games. I think they deserve to be questioned on that. I think they'd agree themselves it was a mistake when they review it.

The mgmt were just hoping BW would get them out of jail again, lobbing ball after ball down on top of him when he was marked by 3 players, the subs in the first half were ridiculous, to bring a player on and take him off after 10 minutes summed up their indecisiveness

Presuming Furlongs term is up, who is likely to be the next u20 manager? Its Meylers Minor team (2007) next up but that didn’t go great and he’s now chairing this hurling committee (and there are other reasons!) so I assume he won’t be getting another go (doubt he’d want it either..).
