I think Sheehy from Bantry is a big talent but injury ruled him out this year. Anyway it's how you develop players from here physically as well as everything else. We have hammered kerry at u21 level previously and a lot of that kerry team won senior all irelands.

In recent times, very few (if any) would never have beaten Cork at underage but that probably refers to Cork u21 team of 2011 who absolutely hammered Kerry out the gate at u21 in Munster final. Cork team achieved nothing at AI level subsequent to that (Aidan Walsh and Ciaran Sheehan already had AI medal from previous season).
For Kerry, Kelly in goal, Paul Geaney, James O' Donoghue and Barry John Keane (as sub) all went on to win an AI medal in 2014. All of them however won a Munster minor title in 2008.

I'm not sure what success looks like for our U20s for the next few years, but you'd hope this does well and we have a proper candidate for the senior job out of it.

Excellent appointment. I really hope it goes well for Ray, who is universally well respected. Could be an ideal successor to John Cleary.
