Cork U20 Footballers 2025

Saw the game meath were poor very hard to judge Cork, very surprised no one for Barrs, Bishopstown Ballincollig or Donaghmore on the first team. Barrett and Holland were outstanding for Donaghmore last year.

I’d like to have seen a few more lads on successful club teams from 2024 campaigns on the panel. Bishopstown won the u21 A grade county in December & got to the Minor Prem 1 semi final - 1 player. Ballincollig won the Minor Prem 1 but only 1 player. Kilmurry Prem Junior County & Munster Champs plus u21 B county winners and only 1 player - surely O’ Mullane with the squad. Kilshannig Premier Intermediate champs - 1 player.
Plenty examples there but seem to be missing a trick not backing lads who’ve had succesful few months and would be carrying red hot form. Easier to breathe that winning mentality into players if they are already winning at club level. Tough to watch a gap open up between ourselves and the Kingdom when it seemed we were getting on top at this level & minor not so long ago.

Still two years young and wouldn’t be up to the standard yet. They will be around on the age that’s for sure but need to get a lot physically bigger. I’d agree definitely with bishopstown and ballincollig

Ballincollig have been very poor U21 the last 2 years. Would say Naomh Aban would only be a good B team the fact they got a run in the A last year to the final is the reason they stayed up doesn't really say much for Ballincollig that they got taken to extra time.
