Cork U-20 Hurlers 2025

For me the poster has clarified that his comments on the Cork manager go way beyond his role with our U20s. There is clearly a lot of hatred there. It seems deeply personal and he refers back to decades old incidents. The poster has also confirmed that he/she has had confrontations before with our manager including calling him a cu next Tuesday. That sort of thing happens unfortunately even at club level.

Clearly rational thought and balanced opinion will not prevail in analyzing the spirited performance of our U20s the last night.
I don’t think anymore needs to be said & it’s time to move the discussion on.

He has a two year term so I'd suggest the gripers pull on their big boy pants and suck it up.

Niall Mccarthy was a minor selector that year and did a lot of good work with that minor team. Furlong shouldn't be near a Cork team, plenty of other ex players/coaches out there would do it

I know Niall, a nicer fella you couldn't meet.

I don't know Furlong tbh so Ill have to take your word for it.

He's coach for 2026 so in my mind at least there's little point in painting him as the great Satan.
