So to be clear your issue with Noel Furlong as u-20 hurling coach is that he struck a fella off the ball in an u21 club game 25 years ago or more?

I'm not sure why people are making such a fuss about the comments on here calling them "personalised" etc. People think his actions in relation to his hurling activities make him a prick in that sphere. What's wrong with saying that? For me the line is drawn if you start commenting on things outside of hurling. Nobody has done that so not sure what the big deal is.

Tbf, he walked on water, when he was in charge of that freakish minor team. Once he moved to the seniors, it was open season.

I'm not upset in the slightest.

Its a public forum. I just see a lot of the same posters who were complaining when he got the gig sticking the boot in as soon as they went out.

I'm hearing a stream of inventive directed at Furlong and so far next to nothing to justify it.
