I'd agree with almost all of that, especially the benefit from ceding the momentum to Limerick in the second half and coming back to snatch it at the death.That's a fine result and a better performance.
In a way it's better we had a wobble in the 2nd half. Lads will get additional belief from coming through that.
I thought the first wave of subs unsettled us a small bit but we regrouped big time near the end.
Lads like Adam Sull, Walsh x 2 and Wilk really stood up. Fellas with that previous years experience. That's a good sign for those lads.
Ross Sull and JWB will have better days at the office too which is positive.
One thing I'd disagree with: tonight was first and foremost about the result. Things would look awfully different had Cork lost or even drawn: they would have been relying on favours in the other match to have any chance. As things stand, if they beat a Waterford team who are all but mathematically eliminated, they are in the Munster semi-final, against the winners of Clare-Limerick.
The performance was clearly better, though still lots to work on. But the momentum from a win changes everything.
