Cork Senior Football 2023

Because the CCB appeased the senior clubs that couldn't handle the fact that they wouldn't be senior any more.

And that justifies making up a grade and putting teams at a disadvantage in Munster club and AI championships, absolute nonsense.

Well if that’s what the clubs want so be it. The extra numbers of clubs justify it a bit.

How do Dublin grade their teams or how many teams are in each grade?

If im right Fossa the 17th Best team in Kerry v Kilmurry the 49th best team in Cork is that fair.
People need to take the provincial club championships with a pinch of salt, like Ballygiblin were technically 61st in Cork last year, they won Munster and ultimately lost the junior hurling final by a point. They played some British team in the semi final and had 20 points to spare on them.

What’s the point or benefit of sending a team a grade or two above Ballygiblin into that competition?

The Kerry system unfortunately throws a spanner in the works when it comes to football, but Kanturk and Kilmurry would be well able for most other club teams in that grade no doubt and aren’t out of their depth there by any means in the overall picture.

It probably is fair when you take into consideration playing populations. If we have 3 or 4 times the playing population of Kerry, then, our 49th best team probably should be equivalent to Kerry's 17th best team.
Kerry are just more focused than us on football, so they are better. Simple as.

And Cork is twice Kerry’s so what’s your point?
If you can't understand the mammoth scale of Dublin's population compared to ours, then this is pointless. The bottom line is we renamed a grade to appease a cohort of senior clubs to the detriment of clubs competing in Munster. There was no need for the grade and we still could have had the same structure as now. Senior A is prem intermediate.

One of the issues is the divisions. All the clubs in senior A could play with the divisions , and with imokilly going the way they were it took the senior A clubs out of the divisions so it gave the clubs in cork a better chance at premier senior level. Look at the county championship in kerry , the divisions are so strong now .

The CCB makes the rules, all the have to do is make Prem intermediate players ineligible for their divisions. This isn't reinventing the wheel. Their championship, their rules.
Clubs me hole, if they are clubs why can’t they be relegated like every other club?
So the aren't affiliated GAA clubs now? When did this happen? There was no team relegated before 2006 either, why, oh yeah does were the rules. The rules set by the CCB for their championship. If you have a problem with why certain clubs aren't relegated, contact the CCB and ask them instead of whinging about here every year like a 'tard
