Given the cost I suppose tolls are the only hope of new motorways these days. Tolls are annoying but it’d be a significant improvement on what we have no. I hope they drive on and planning permission is given ASAP.
An article in todays Irish Times from a northern perspective as to how much better the roads are down here and delivery via tolling is the smartest way to go as the Cork-Limerick project moves forward while huge road projects in the north are mired in funding and political issues.This is great that it's going to be a Motorway, that will give us a dual carriageway all the way up the West to Tuam.
