Was Fintan O Leary starting in 2002 for Ballinhassig?
I marked him in championship 20 years ago and I'm sure I remember him as being either a Cork minor or just out of Cork minor at that time which would imply he was 15 in 2002 ????

He definitely wasnt playing then. But what is great of that team in 2002 is seeing sons and nephews of the great Sullivan clan coming through in a short period of time to do what their Dads and Uncels did

No. He'd have been 16 then. He was into first team set up in '03

As far as I know Brendan Lombard was still playing Junior B up to last year anyway .. super player.. Balinhassig always seem to have the same 4/5 families at the core of all their teams which is nice to see especially in a country club..

Yeah too young in 2002 but the All Ireland Series would have ran into 2003

A pity, would have been nice to have had a couple of representatives go deep into the championship. Sars were always up against it today, but I'd say Ballinhassig would have fancied their chances.
