Cork Premier Intermediate Football 2025

It is hard to see anyone but Iveleary win this grade. Obviously, they can be caught on a bad day, but on current form, they are the team to beat.

Rockchapel are lucky to go through and Glanmire very unlucky not to go through in that group, conceding a last minute penalty v Bantry Blues.

It will be interesting what comes of the Fermoy v Ballinora drama.

What happened

What did the scoreboard say?
Finished up 2-15 to 0-21 on the scoreboard, ref and linesmen were saying that was correct.

It was 2-7 to 0-10 at half time, but ref said scoreboard was wrong and it reverted to 2-7 to 0-9, not sure which score was the issue, Fermoy kicked a very tight 2 pointer (50/50 really) just before half time which I'd imagine was the issue but will wait to see what happens.

Well if scoreboard was rectified by ref at HT I would think both teams knew score all thru second half and that will be the end of it .

Could be on for a replay, though I'm after hearing the about 5 different things about different scores at the same time so who knows how it will play out.

Both team's twitter's have the scores going up in different orders so that's not much help and even the Examiner/Echo report's have a fair few mistakes, they said Clancy kicked the last score to level it, when in reality Fermoy went ahead and Kingston levelled it in injury time.

Both teams would have video so will have to see what happens, both teams have hurling next week too.

Hurling won’t get in the way of that, if needed a replay that would be played next week

If the ref didn't count one of their scores they have every right to feel aggrieved and should get something out of it. Not sure how you can justify saying "that will be the end of it" when critical error has been made.
