Aghada V CTB - Aghada by 5
Fermoy V Ballinora - Fermoy by 3
Glanmire V Bantry - Bantry by 2 of Sheedy plays?
Kiskeam V Macroom - Kiskeam by 1 (very close, possibly a draw here)
Naomh Aban V Nemo - Naomh Aban by 6
Iveleary V Rockchapel - Iveleary by whatever they like.
Group 1:
Uibh Laoire vs Rockchapel
Uibh Laoire to win at a canter
Bantry vs Galnmire
Glanmire to win this one I reckon. Sad to see a legend of a club such as bantry heading for a relegation final. Was talking to a man earlier in the year who thought they’d turn a corner with their new management. This man was wrong. They’ve been consistent at underage playing at high enough levels so they will come back one no doubt but I think the men from glanmire will win this one.
Group 2:
Macroom vs Kiskeam
Best game to watch if anyone is around the kanturk area tomorrow at 5 o clock. Both teams play good brands of football and kick their fair share of 2 pointers. Both seasons riding on this game so it’ll be a blockbuster best believe. Macroom to win by the minimum.
Castletownbere vs Aghada
Who cares, CTB play an extremely negative brand of football and rely too heavily on fenner in the middle of the park. Aghada have had a serious drop off from last year but if they can maintain fenner in midfield they should be alright. Might not have the backs to stop 2 good CTB forwards.
Group 3:
Naomh Aban vs Nemo 2
Very hard to call. Naomh aban have a very well structured club and are competing well at all levels. I think they’ll have too much for Nemo in the end and should get the win. Nemo lost Molloy from the last round as he played senior the day after intermediate so I think Naomh Aban to win by 1 or 2.
Fermoy vs Balinora
Again very hard to call. I think a draw may be the outcome here which would see Balinora qualify out the group.
Relegation final:
Aghada vs Bantry
Aghada to go down.
