Saw MT Brosnan this morning at CBC, he has grown over the Summer. Could be a huge player this year in Harty and for minors next year
I believe that would be Alex Crowley playing wing forward, normally a midfielder at club level . Knew I had forgotten about a couple of blackrock fellas.Blackrock also have Darragh Waters, Alan Kirwan and Jack Kearney on the City team.
Do you know which of the 'Barrs lads plays wing-forward, he's a very good and athletic rangy player who seems to cover every blade of grass on the pitch?
I believe the following players are involved with North Cork:
Harry O'Connor, Muiris O'Riordan and Finn Curtin - Ballyhea
Paddy Brosnan, Stephen McHugh and Charlie O'Mahony - Shandrum
Luke McAuliffe and Charlie Collins - Charleville
Sean Riordan - Kilworth
Does anyone know why Sean Hogan (Eire Og) and Sam Dolan (Carrigtwohill) are not on the West and East panels respectively? They were the highest scorers in the Premier 2 Championship and Hogan scored 6 majors alone in the county final, are they both U-13?
Sam Dolan is definitely u14. I think one problem is that all four panels have 30 or so players on them, even though some are stronger than others. It has meant that some good players in the east and west areas haven't gotten a place. On the flip side everyone deserves a shot so not sure how that could be fixed without rancour.Blackrock also have Darragh Waters, Alan Kirwan and Jack Kearney on the City team.

I think this discussion needs to be ended.Sam Dolan is definitely u14. I think one problem is that all four panels have 30 or so players on them, even though some are stronger than others. Why?I think this discussion needs to be ended.
Presume it's the big physically advanced lads that are dominating at that ageWhy?
Would be very much be the case at u13, u14 and maybe even u15. Guys born early in the year and had their growth spurt have a huge advantage in that regard. Looking at most teams certain fellas look like fully grown men where as other still look like their in primary schoolPresume it's the big physically advanced lads that are dominating at that age
There won't be any u17 this year I'm pretty sureI am following the U16 and U 18 hurling competitions. Is there any u17 hurling this year. Someone said it will be in October. Not sure why so late.
