I propose that the Cork minor team/panel will be along the following lines for the up coming inter-county championship. Looking forward to all your feedback especially underage selection experts such as Mini Rebel and Goat1. There should definitely be a few changes and extra names to make up 37/38.

1. Marley Walsh (Youghal)
2. Nathan Coffey (Na Piarsaigh) 3. Howard O'Donovan (Kilmeen) 4. Finn Cahill (Midleton)
5. Eoin Considine (Sars,) 6. Cathal Barry (Bride Rovers) 7. Tadhg Murphy (Cloughduv)
8. Conor Stack (B'rock) 9. Liam O'Regan ('Barrs)
10 Cormac Murphy (Ballinora) 11. Tadhg McCarthy (W'G'hill) 12. Sam Ring (C'twohill)
13. Tom Huggins (Sars) 14. Callum Coffey (Na Piarsaigh) 15. James O'Sullivan (Inniscarra)

Panel: Cormac McCarthy & Alex Maher (both Sars), Will Stokes, Peadar Egan, Ciaran Kelly, Alfie Hennessy, Charlie McCarthy, Liam Walsh, John O'Sullivan, (all Midleton), Alex Lehane & Ben Hegarty (both Ballinora), Philip Heavey (Passage,) David Nolan (Erins Own), Harry O'Connor, (Ballyhea), Bobby Power, (Ballincollig), Chris Woodland (Cloughduv), CJ Barrett ('Barrs), Stephen McHugh, Daniel Collins (both Shandrum).

Brilliant knowledge of the underage scene in Cork as per usual, Corkonian. I didn't realise Sam Ring and Callum Coffey are still underage. They'll bring good experience to the fold. And Tom Huggins played some great stuff for Sars minors last year. How do you think they'll fare out in Munster @Corkonian1 ?

Cheers!

I'd expect Cork to do well and I'd be confident that Donal Mulcahy leaves no stone unturned in insuring they do so. I'd also expect the others to be strong with maybe Limerick the weakest of the 5.

Like Coffey and Ring, James O'Sullivan is a good scoring inside forward and a strong lad. As good as Huggins is, just like him Bobby Power is not big but also a very good hurler and could easily be selected to start IMO.

Ger Kingston is quite versatile which would help him getting on the panel.

Sean Riordan is very physical which management might like but he over does it at times, also a rugby player I believe and underage again in 2027 so will be expected to make it then at least. Is his clubmate Conor Lynch involved?

Hugo Rafferty didn't make the CBC Dean Ryan team, although I understand he'd a share of injuries beforehand. Have those injuries cleared up and is he going well again?

Have Shandrum a Gerry O'Mahoney involved or do you mean Gerry's son Charlie who is underage again in 2027?

Disappointed to hear James O'Sullivan is ruled out, he's a big loss.
