Not winning and dominating as we used to...and the doom and gloom around this. Maybe just my 1980s mindset. What harty cup situation?
Nonsense. These kids are mostly TYs and 2 years younger than Harty. You could have boys playing tonight who aren’t even making the school Harty team yet.Puts the Harty Cup situation into perspective. The old correlation is no longer relevant. The spread of clubs in Cork has proven this.

Ya I saw both teams play in a challenge pre championship and there was nothing between them. Cormac Deane picked off so many handy unchallenged scores it seemed Waterford were just letting their CB at it for the learning, there’s no way they’d leave that continue in a do or die scenario. It was bizarre to watch.People have to remember these lads are 16/17 years of age. A thoroughly enjoyable game of hurling with Cork's crisper hurling allowing them to pull away in the end. Can't see there being much between them if they meet again.

Garde and Brosnan are fantastic half backs, the latter looked the best player on the field. Cork did a great job on Spain and the switch on Jack power worked well also. Two of the top 3 sides in the country there tonight by all accounts.
