Yes, I just thought you were having a dig I took you up wrong. Donoughmore doing serious work underage but it’s just lack of numbers is the real issue. A lot of u16s on that panel today that were backed by 4 or 5 very strong 18 year olds. They have some serious talent that played minor the last 2 years and for a club like Donoughmore these will be the lads to drive them to a junior county in years to come. It all goes around in cycles.They were good enough to play P1 this year but I totally understand why they would want to stay P2. They'd be concerned that they could get whipped which would do the club no good in the long term. For smaller clubs who get a good crop every so often it's a real tough call about which grade to play.
